My time has come!

Remember how upset I was b/c I had missed out on a promotion? The hand me down nugget of wisdom that day was your time will come. And guess what? My time has come! All in one go: I have a new role and I got the promotion! All very exciting news!

It took 7 months for this to come to fruition (it was a new role created for me hence the delay) and many times along the way I nearly gave up. But I kept being told by my boyfriend, who gave me the original nugget, to be patient and keep the faith. My uncle further reiterated that point by adding to my original post that your time will come, with time. I waited (not very patiently I’ll admit) and voila, it finally happened!

This all means I’m going to be super busy over the next few months. I have a lot on my plate right now and I need to focus on all those other things happening in my life (ahem, one of which includes marrying said boyfriend). Which explains why I have been MIA for awhile. So, I will be taking a short break from blogging. Doesn’t mean I won’t be blogging at all, only that I won’t be doing it once a week, rather on a bi- or monthly basis.

Thank you all for your support and particularly all of you who have just recently signed up to my blog. I wish I could email each of you individually to welcome you, but my alarm just went off and it’s time to start the day.

And don’t forget, be patient, work hard, and your time will come, with time!
